November 4: "Twas the Night Before Christmas" - Bedroom scene, bed next to window with Christmas bedding, Twas the Night Before Christmas storybook, and cookies for Santa.  (Clothing suggestion: pajamas - either Christmas or solid red, green or cream)

Undeniable Fact #1: I get to photograph life’s most precious gift, BABIES! They are cute and cuddly, bundles of joy with gummy grins and twinkling eyes.

Undeniable Fact #2: I love my job so much that is doesn’t feel like a job. Instead, I get to PLAY all day.

Undeniable Fact #3: Numbers 1 and 2 are definitely related.

Undeniable Fact #4: Baby photography is the best. Being a baby specialist is awesome and rewarding each day.

Undeniable Fact #5:  Little Rachel, her mom and I had so much fun at her six month session while, Grandma and Big Bother watched on. Rachel played in the bathtub, “danced” around in a tutu, and crawled ‘til her heart was content.

When a parent is overseas, far away from their baby who is growing so fast and changing so quickly, it can be a sad and painful experience for them. When one of my clients is in that situation, I create a special slideshow for them and make it available to them with a personal web address for the whole time they are overseas. It's important to me that my clients have that priceless connection with their sweet babies.

It has always been said that one should never mix business with friendship; it might cause to you to perform poorly in business, or end up regretting mixing the two. And in many situations, it probably makes a whole lot of sense. However that is not the approach I have taken in running my business. In my experience – bringing together business, passion, and friendship creates magic.

The relationships that I have built with my clients create life-long friendships.  They become part of my studio family. I love to watch their children grow up right before my eyes.  Capturing these special memories for my clients is both an honor and joy. Can’t think of a better job.

Just the other day, I had to say goodbye to a family that has been part of my studio family for more than three years. They are a military family who left the Islands for the East Coast. I have enjoyed watching their children grow. Emily first came to me at three months old and has grown into a fun, spunky little girl, while Madison is growing to a beautiful young lady, and let’s not forget about Samuel, who is going to have the girls running after him soon enough. And because of our friendship, I know that one day I will get to see them again.
