I am Jennifer Okamoto, owner and photographer of Jennifer Okamoto Fine Portraiture, a home-based photography studio in Mililani, outside of Honolulu, HI.

A PASSION THAT GREW…

As a stay-at-home mom, I photographed my children continuously as they grew up. Ashley, 21 and Paige 16, have thousands of photos to enjoy as they have grown up. Taking my love of photography to a higher level, I went back to college and received a degree in Art – photography and trained with world-renowned photographers who showed how to capture the essence of the experience. It was only natural for me to take my love of children and photography to the next level by combining the two into a warm, loving photography studio specializing in babies and young children.

This is the goal that I have for everyone who lays, sits, crawls, or stands before my camera - to bring out the inner beauty and personality that each of us has. It might mean showing the closeness of a family, the glow of an expectant mother, the bond between Mother and Child, the innocence of childhood, or the purity of a newborn baby.

I strive to capture the special moments and feelings in life with a unique style of photography. I choose to focus my camera on people, placing emphasis on capturing the ever-changing moments with babies and young children by themselves and with their families.
